The LM2575S-12 regulator is monolithic integrated circuit that provides all the active functions for a step-down(buck) switching regulator, capable of driving 3A load withexcellent line and load regulation. The LM2575S-12 is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and anadjustable output version.Requiring a minimum number of external components, the LM2575S-12 is simple to use and include internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. The LM2575S-12 offers a high-efficiency replacement forpopular three-terminal linear regulators. Applications include simple high-efficiency step-down regulator, efficient pre-regulator for linear regulators, on-card switching regulators, positive to negative convert, isolated flyback converter using minimum number of external components and negetive boost converter.
